Terms, conditions, and policies governing .kfh and .بيتك domains

Registration Policy

Domain names under .kfh and .بيتك are restricted to Kuwait Finance House and its authorized affiliates, subsidiaries, and trademark licensees. General public registration is not available.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be Kuwait Finance House or an authorized affiliate
  • Must have written authorization from KFH
  • Must comply with all registry policies and ICANN requirements
  • Domain names must not infringe on third-party rights

Registration Process

Domain registrations are processed internally through authorized channels. For registration inquiries, please contact info@nic.kfh.

Acceptable Use Policy

All domains registered under our TLDs must be used in accordance with applicable laws and ICANN policies. Domains may not be used for:

  • Illegal activities or content
  • Phishing, malware distribution, or fraud
  • Trademark or intellectual property infringement
  • Spam or unsolicited communications
  • Any activity that damages the reputation of KFH

Compliance

Registrants are responsible for ensuring their domain usage complies with all applicable laws, including but not limited to:

  • Kuwait laws and regulations
  • International anti-spam laws
  • Intellectual property laws
  • Data protection regulations

Anti-Abuse Policy

KFH Registry maintains a strict anti-abuse policy. Reports of abuse can be submitted to abuse@nic.kfh. All reports are investigated and appropriate action is taken, including domain suspension or termination.

Types of Abuse

  • Malware: Distribution of malicious software
  • Phishing: Fraudulent attempts to obtain sensitive information
  • Spam: Unsolicited bulk messaging
  • Botnets: Command and control of compromised computers
  • Child Exploitation: Any child abuse material (zero tolerance)

Response Procedures

  1. Abuse reports are reviewed within 24 hours
  2. Verified abuse results in immediate domain suspension
  3. Registrant is notified and given opportunity to respond
  4. Continued violation results in permanent termination

DNSSEC Policy

All domains under .kfh and .بيتك support DNSSEC. Registry operators are encouraged to enable DNSSEC signing for enhanced security.

DNSSEC Implementation

  • The registry signs all zones with DNSSEC
  • DS records can be submitted for registered domains
  • Supported algorithms: RSA/SHA-256, ECDSA P-256
  • Key rollovers are performed according to ICANN best practices

Benefits of DNSSEC

  • Protects against DNS cache poisoning
  • Ensures authenticity of DNS responses
  • Provides chain of trust from root to domain

Privacy Policy

Registration data is collected and maintained in accordance with ICANN requirements and applicable privacy laws. Personal data is protected and only disclosed as required by law or ICANN policy.

Data Collection

We collect the following registration data:

  • Domain name and registration dates
  • Registrant contact information
  • Administrative and technical contacts
  • Nameserver information

Data Disclosure

Registration data may be disclosed:

  • Through RDAP/WHOIS services (limited public data)
  • To ICANN as required by the Registry Agreement
  • To law enforcement pursuant to valid legal process
  • To protect the rights and safety of others

Data Protection

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect registration data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

IDN Policy

The .بيتك TLD supports Arabic script domain names. Registrations must comply with IDNA2008 standards and use valid Arabic characters. The EPP language tag for Arabic registrations is "ar".

Supported Characters

The .بيتك TLD supports domain names using Arabic script characters as defined in the IDN tables approved by ICANN.

IDN Requirements

  • Domain labels must be valid under IDNA2008
  • Mixed-script labels are not permitted
  • Confusable characters are restricted
  • EPP language tag: "ar" (Arabic)

Technical Specifications

  • Unicode Version: Compatible with current IDNA2008 standards
  • Punycode: xn--ngbe9e0a (for .بيتك)
  • Script: Arabic

Terms of Service

By using domains under .kfh or .بيتك, registrants agree to comply with all registry policies, ICANN requirements, and applicable laws. The registry reserves the right to suspend or terminate domains that violate these terms.

Registrant Obligations

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Keep registration information up to date
  • Comply with all registry policies
  • Use domains in accordance with applicable laws
  • Respond promptly to registry inquiries

Registry Rights

  • Suspend or terminate domains for policy violations
  • Modify policies with reasonable notice
  • Cooperate with law enforcement
  • Take action to protect the integrity of the TLD

Dispute Resolution

Domain disputes are resolved in accordance with the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) and any applicable registry dispute resolution procedures.
